Help is at hand for anyone requiring advice on how best to boost their chances of finding work in a Moray town.
The growing network of Job Clubs in the region has continued with a new resource opening in the Keith library.
Job Clubs have already proven successful in other Moray towns – now Keith jobseekers have the opportunity to meet others looking for work, build contacts and share their experiences.
Meeting from 2pm to 4pm on the third Thursday of each month, the Keith Job Club will begin on Thursday, October 16.
A spokesman for Moray Council Library Services said: “Research shows that the best way to find another job is through friends, family or social networks, which is why it is so vital to have a Job Club in the area.
“During every session we will help people to look for work by swapping ideas, creating CVs, assisting with applications and building confidence.
“We are still looking for more volunteers to staff the Job Club so that it can run every week and we would encourage anyone who is interested to get in touch.”
More information on the club, both for Jobseekers and potential volunteers, is available by calling Keith library on 01542 882223 or Elgin library on 01343 562603.
