A DRIVER AND his male passenger walked away uninjured after his vehicle left a country road in Moray and crashed through a garden fence, ending up on its side.
The BMW crashed off the B9103 Lossiemouth to Lhanbryde road close to the Milltown junction at around 10am on Saturday morning.
The road was partially closed for an hour after the incident in which the car hit a stone wall before overturning. Two Fire and Rescue Service vehicles rushed to the scene and were relieved to find that there were no injuries although extensive damage had been caused.
“We received reports that a blue BMW 330 had come off the B9103 Lossiemouth to Lhanbryde road at around 10.10am on Saturday morning,” a police spokesman said, adding: “The driver was uninjured but we remained at the site while the road was made safe and oil spillages cleared.
“One carriageway was blocked but the road was cleared at around 11.30am.”
