A SPECIAL MUSICAL treat is in store next weekend at the Tugnet Icehouse in Spey Bay when one of the most exciting new musical talents in Scotland will be performing alongside the local Ceilidh band.
Shona Brown will travel from her home in Glasgow to make the special Moray appearance at a time when she is creating a growing reputation with her flute, vocal and ambient electronic music.
Shona’s steady rise was fuelled by live appearances on BBC Radio Scotland and STV Glasgow in recent months – receiving high review acclaim for her performances.
Described by Daily Record reviewer Robert Mitchell as “a professional musician with a voice and an infectious zeal that fills the hall”, Shona is set to appear at the Icehouse as part of a fantastic line-up that also features Guy Charles Burgess, a regular performer at the Portsoy Salmon Bothy.
