Poor road conditions blamed for two accidents
Man in his 20’s died on the road between Kinloss and Roseisle

A YOUNG MAN has died in a collision on a Moray road earlier this afternoon.

Two cars collided on the B9089 between Roseisle and Kinloss. Police say that one of the vehicles burst into flames while the other ended up in a field alongside.

A police spokeswoman confirmed that the man, in his 20s and believed to live locally, had died as a result of the accident, which happened at around noon. Two elderly people involved in the accident escaped with minor injuries.

The road was blocked off by police as they continued their investigations, with the spokeswoman saying that the road is likely to remain closed for some time.

It is the second fatal accident on local roads over the Festive season. Bryan Addison, 21 and from Elgin, died when he was struck by a car on the A941 between Lossiemouth and Elgin in the early hours of December 19.
