A MORAY HARBOUR that is in serious need of repairs will see work starting next week.

Portknockie Harbour users are being asked to navigate “with caution” during work to part of its north pier which will be closed off to the public.

Users are also being advised that other areas of the harbour may also require to be closed at short notice.

As well as the north pier, the jetty will undergo repairs as will Macdonald’s Pier and the entrance jetty. It is expected that the work will be completed by the end of September although weather condition will be a major factor in progress.

Updates will be posted on the harbour noticeboard while harbour users can obtain further information by emailing harbours@moray.gov.uk.
