PARENTS OF CHILDREN attending the Kinloss Daycare Centre are being warned that there is a “strong possibility” it will need to close tomorrow (Wednesday).
A meeting has been called for this evening at 6pm to explain the situation, with the local authority warning that that while the situation is interim, they cannot provide a timescale for when the Centre will reopen.
This evening’s meeting at the centre will see attendees from the Moray Council, Action for Children and the CO of 39 Engineer Regiment. All parents should attend if possible.
A spokesman said: “In the meantime we ask that parents begin making contingency plans for childcare from tomorrow. For those with 16 hours of funded places, Moray Council will be explaining their proposed interim arrangements.
“Apologies for the very short notice but this has been a fast-moving situation.”
