MORAY COUNCIL HAS been allocated £334,000 by the Scottish Government from the European Social Fund and is now invited applications for Challenge Funds.
Organisations in the region are able to apply for funding towards projects that fit with the council’s employability strategy which seeks to help people with barriers towards and into work.
The European funding received from the local authority would cover half of those eligible project costs – applicant organisations would be required to provide a signed letter that confirms match funding is available for the other half.
Such funding should not be from private funds or other European funding streams, and the deadline for applications has been set as June 23 with projects having to be completed by the end of 2018.
Applications forms and guidance on the scheme is available online while additional information can also be obtained by Email to alan.macbeth@moray.gov.uk.
