Moray Chamber card-game helps online connections

BUSINESSES IN MORAY are being invited to an event that is aimed at helping them boost their online presence – vital in today’s market place.

Moray Chamber of Commerce have organised for a third time their ‘Chamber Connect’ event at the Ramnee Hotel in Forres on May 15 from 3pm to 5pm.

Chamber Connect will help focus local businesses on their online presence, at the same time combining it with making the more of the contacts available within the Chamber network. Among the methods used will be a new theme card game, put together by Sarah Frame-O’Hare of Strategy Cards Ltd.

Sarah will be introducing the principles behind gamification in the workplace and teach the benefits of involving different levels of employees in important business areas.
Strategy Cards Ltd is a start-up company that makes professional workplace card games that strategize what may be seen as everyday business tasks, giving a fresh approach with new ideas on how to tackle them.

Her creations range from ‘Grow Your Business’ games for the mass market through to bespoke personalised Strategy Card games for industries such as banking, education, healthcare and social enterprise which cover a wide range of tasks and topics.

Chamber Connect will feature a bespoke card game made by Sarah to focus on how members connect with each other online. Attendees will learn more about each other in a useful and interactive way.

The aim is for both chamber members and non-members to leave this session with a larger network of connections, contacts and useful ideas.

Tickets for Chamber Connect are £15 plus VAT for members and £20 plus VAT for non-members. To book your place, please contact gdunk@moraychamber.co.uk or alternatively, call 01343 543344.
