‘Outstanding’ Lossie Salon nets another national award

ONE OF MORAY’S leading salons has continued to sweep all before it in terms of national recognition this year by clinching yet another major title.

Lossiemouth’s KAM Hair and Body Spa have been revealed as Scottish winners in the Best of Britain Awards – the salon owned by Karen Thomson recognised for “outstanding services and overall business ethos”.

Hundreds of entries for the awards were received from Salon’s throughout the country for the awards introduced by business energy comparison service ‘Love Energy Savings’. They partnered with EDF, Opus, British Gas and Scottish Power to identify businesses going above and beyond – and which deserved recognition.

As well as the boost to the Salon’s prestige, they will receive a £300 prize to be spent as they wished – and they will also be invited to a prize presentation event next month.

Karen Thomson said: “Showing that we are a serious business contender is important to us and we are absolutely delighted to have stood out amongst the hundreds of applications in our region and be chosen as the Best of Britain Awards winner in Scotland.

“At KAM, we always go the extra mile for our clients to ensure the service they are being provided with exceeds their expectations and we love to team up with local independent businesses and local charity events wherever possible to show our community support.”

Phil Foster, Managing Director of Love Energy Savings, added: “It was an incredibly challenging task to select the Best of Britain winners – the standard of entrants was incredibly high.

“KAM Hair and Body Spa really stood out from the crowd. It was good to hear about how much they give back to the local community of Lossiemouth. We hope that receiving the award gives them the recognition that they deserve.

“I’m pleased we could acknowledge such a fantastic business with our Best of Britain Awards.”
