A CELEBRATION OF over 30 years’ service to the community will be marked at Keith Library at an open day next week.
The library will celebrate on February 1 with a ‘Storytime’ session for under-5s at 10am. From there a series of events will be held, including an opportunity to meet best-selling author Stuart MacBride at 7pm.
Earlier in the day, a ‘Reminiscence Session’ will be held at 11am when local people will be invited to share their memories of the 50s, 60s and 70s – from Green Shield Stamps to Vinyl LP’s.
Information technology ‘taster’ sessions will be held at 2pm in the afternoon – and there will be an opportunity for visitors to take part in a library quiz and treasure hunt.
