POLICE ARE APPEALING for information over a Keith road accident that left an 11-year-old girl suffering minor injuries.
The accident is reported to have happened at around 3.10pm on Tuesday, May 5 on Seafield Avenue where the road meets the junction with the busy A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road.
A police spokeswoman said: “An 11-year-old girl was crossing the road when she was struck on the thigh by an orange ‘jeep type’ car.
“She did not sustain any serious injuries as a result of the collision.”
Police in Keith are now asking anyone who might have witnessed the incident or who may have information on the vehicle involved to contact them on the non-emergency 101 number.
