MOTORISTS IN CULLEN faced delays last night after an accident close to the Cullen Bay Hotel.
The driver of a black Renault Clio lost control of the vehicle on the tight bend in the A98 Cullen to Buckie road, ending up off the road with the car overturned.
No other vehicles were involved and fortunately the Clio driver was reported to be unhurt from the experience.
A police spokesman confirmed the accident happened shortly after 5pm, saying: “When officers arrived at the scene they found the car on its roof.
“The vehicle was partially obstructing the road but thankfully it appears that no significant injuries were sustained in the crash.”
Traffic was reported to be back to normal again by 6.30 when the road was reopened.
