JAZZ MUSIC FANS in Moray are being reminded that they have a regular venue at which to enjoy their music right on their doorstep.
The Moray Jazz Club meets every Thursday evening at the Elgin City Social Club – with their session this week featuring the highly acclaimed Colin Black Trio.
A club spokesman said: “The club is popular but at the same time is perhaps one of the most kept secrets in Moray!
“Our weekly sessions feature some of the best Jazz music you could find anywhere and we would certainly welcome more Jazz Fans to the club every Thursday from 7.30pm.”
Thursday’s session sees Colin Black on guitar, Bryan Chalmers on bass and Bill Kemp on drums being joined by guest vocalist Marisha Addison. Marisha has been charming audiences throughout the north east for many years and remains one of the most in-demand performers.
Doors open in Elgin on Thursday at 7.30pm for an 8pm start – full details on this and other activities of the Moray Jazz Club can be found online.
