Moray teenager admits sex crimes at Edinburgh High Court


A TEENAGER HAS appeared at the High Court in Edinburgh where he admitted a series of sex crimes committed in Moray.

Connor Ballantyne, 18, admitted the rape of a nursery-aged girl at an address in Moray between December 1, 2011 and October 17 the following year.

He also admitted forcing a primary school aged boy to commit a sex act on him at another Moray address in November and December 2012.

A third charge related to his performing a sex act on a primary school aged boy.

Ballantyne, who is from Elgin, appeared at the High Court on Friday before Lord Stewart and was told he would be sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow on July 9.
