A TELEVISION MASTERCHEF winner will be on hand to make sure that the fifth annual Elgin Food and Drink Festival is the biggest and best yet.
Jamie Scott, winner of ‘Masterchef the Professionals’ in 2014, will be on hand with live cooking demonstrations – as well as providing lessons for a few lucky young people.
The festival is taking place on Saturday, August 22 and will once again be organised by Elgin BID, with events taking place in and around the city centre.
A spokeswoman said: “The event this year will showcase some of the finest food and drink produced and sold locally, with cooking classes, delicious samples and an area dedicated to Tasty Tipples.
“There will also be whole host of craft stalls, music and some fantastic activities and entertainment for all the family from tractors and treasure hunts to face painters and fun fairs.”
