SUMMER EVENTS AIMED at providing informal networking meetings for business women in Moray will continue in August.
The highly successful Moray Business Women group will also launch their 2015 awards at a Bar-B-Q being held on Wednesday, August 5 at the Birnie Inn – with an indoor backup in place should the Moray weather prove problematic.
“This year’s summer events have been arranged to be fun and informal evenings where ladies attending can relax and mingle with friends over a fabulous food,” Susan Longmuir, the President of Moray Business Women said.
She added “We will also launch our annual awards at this event on August 5, giving ladies an opportunity to hear from past winners about the confidence and benefits that winning has given them and their businesses.
“Applications to be submitted in October so by launching early August there is plenty of time to put together applications.”
There will be three award categories open to both members and non-members, with the awards this year being presented at the group’s annual charity ball scheduled for Saturday, November 14.
Established in 2006, Moray Business Women has grown quickly into a dynamic club for business and professional women living and working in and around Moray. It is now one of the largest business women’s clubs in Scotland with over 60 members.
Places at the August BBQ – which will start at 6.30pm – costs £15 for members and £20 for non-members or guests.
Booking is available through their EventBrite page www.mbwsummer.eventbrite.co.uk or E-mail club secretary, Shell Waters, on shellwaters80@gmail.com.
Membership is also now reduced to £30 for the remainder of the year and ladies can join at any time or at the events and pay member rates.
