Ground and air search success as missing pensioner is found

A MAJOR SEARCH launched for a missing Moray pensioner by Police Scotland has ended with his being found safe and well.

Norman Shilling, 70, had been reported as missing from his home in Fochabers with local people reporting a major police presence on the ground and in the air around the town this afternoon (Thursday).

Mr Shilling was described as being 5feet 8inches tall and of medium build. He has short receding grey hair and was last seen wearing a blue rain jacket over a blazer, suede shoes and glasses.

He was carrying a number of shoes when he was last seen in the Ordiequish Road area at around 9.35am this morning.

Later this afternoon Police Scotland were delighted to announce that Mr Shilling has been found safe and well.
