QUALITY NEED NOT always cost a fortune – as many fashion and design experts will testify regularly in personal and home make-over shows on television.

Now one enterprising north east businesswoman is helping to providing the ammunition for Moray shoppers with an eye for quality at bargain prices, with Keith’s ever popular Pop-up shop providing a ‘test bed’ perhaps for something more permanent in future.

Evelyn Mitchell will spend a week on Mid Street in the Moray town giving people an opportunity to see for themselves that second-hand is certainly not code for poor quality.

She said: “I’m really quite excited about taking my business to the shop in Keith – the town has been making major strides towards attracting shoppers back to Mid Street and I really believe that I can add to that with my ‘Treasure Finder’ business.

“People visiting us in Keith will I hope discovers something for every taste – items such as scarves from Johnstons of Elgin, a lovely selection of silver gemstone rings, glassware and china and, of course, a lot of funky stuff!”

At the heart of Evelyn Treasure Finder is in eclectic mix of items including vintage games from the 1920’s and 30’s. She explained: “The business stems from my love of all sorts of treasure – china, clothes and jewellery – there are accessories for boys and girls, men and women – it really is a treasure trove for every taste.”

Evelyn Treasure Finder will be open from October 9 to October 16 at the Pop-Up shop on Mid Street in Keith from 9am to 5pm daily.
