THIEVES HAVE STOLEN an entire collection of Motocross kit from a van parked in Aberlour – including a limited edition ‘flex air’ helmet.

Local woman Debbie Proctor has launched a social media appeal for help in tracing the kit and brining the thieves to justice after the theft was discovered this week.

Debbie told insideMoray: “The kit belongs to my son and daughter and their kit was taken from our van on Tuesday night.

“The thieves got everything including all four of their helmets, kits, body armour, gloves – and even the tear-offs they use in racing.

“They paid for most of this kit from their Christmas and Birthday money and are both heartbroken. Police have advised us to get a message out on Facebook as much as possible.

“Anyone who has been offered such equipment for sale or who knows anything at all about this theft in our local Aberlour community please come forward and let the police know.”

Anyone who believes they can help with tracing the kit or those responsible are asked to contact the Police on 101.
