Kids shown how to get on their bikes at Speyside roadshow

Kids Cycling Roadshow
A ROADSHOW WILL be held over this weekend in Dufftown that coincides with the Etape Royal cycling event that will pass through Speyside.

Taking place at the Mortlach Primary School, doors will be open for the free event from 1am on Sunday.

A spokesman for Moray Council said: “The roadshow will provide an opportunity for people to try out a variety of cycles and to talk to staff from the council’s transportation section and access leaflets and other information.

“Families will be made especially welcome and there will be a range of bicycles for children to try out.

“There will also be an accessibility obstacle course designed to help people understand the daily travel challenges faced by those with mobility problems.”

The council’s equal opportunities officer, Don Toonen, has devised the course in conjunction with the Moray Equalities Forum.
