TICKETS FOR MORAY’S much anticipated beer festival are being rapidly snapped up with Elgin Town Hall set for a full house at Moktoberfest.
The festival will return on October 10 and 11 with early indications that it is likely to top the 2500 that packed the first event two years ago.
A coming together of Moray’s growing craft ale companies led to the inaugural Moktoberfest in 2013 raising £10,000 for local good causes – and provided the perfect showcase for the products being produced by Lossiemouth’s Windswept Brewing, the Spey Valley Brewery in Mulben, and the Rothes Brewery.
“Tickets have only been available for a few days but already the Saturday evening session at Moktoberfest is close to a sell-out, while tickets for all sessions are going very well indeed,” a spokeswoman for the festival told insideMoray.
She added: “As well as our fantastic local beer we will showcase some of the best food and drink available in Moray as well as having many local businesses attending Moktoberfest – and of course there will be the all-important music to ensure a great atmosphere.”
Tickets for Moktoberfest are priced at £15 for each session with the Festival doors opening on October 10 from 11am to 5pm and 6pm to midnight. The Festival continues on Sunday, October 11 from 12noon until 6pm.
Moktoberfest tickets are available online.
