Moray’s award-winning Gin production has received another boost thanks to a new range of small-batch gin liqueurs being produced by Gordon Castle in Fochabers.

The new range has married together local produced Gordon Castle Gin with fruit from the abundant 8.5acre Walled Garden – creating Raspberry and Plum flavours.

Each bottle of the Raspberry Gin liqueur is packed with the flavour of 40 rasps – while the plum gin is infused with Gordon Castle’s own eponymous variety of plum.

Gordon Castle’s Angus Gordon Lennox explained: “These new products continue the development of our range of luxury products – all of which come from our historic Walled Garden or Estate.

“The Gordon Castle range relies on the output of our garden, we have over 300 trained fruit trees here along with acres of plants, flowers, herbs, fruit and vegetables – and they all provide ingredients for our luxury products and our café menu.

“These liqueurs are delicious served on their own, but if you like you can drink them as a cocktail as we do in the café, added to a glass of fizz.”

The new liqueurs are provided in 50cl bottles priced at £28 and are available at the Gordon Castle shop near Fochabers, or can be purchased online.
