A SPEYSIDE YOUNGSTER has enjoyed the birthday party to end all birthday parties – well, if you are a wrestling fan at least!
While most celebrating eight-year-olds have fun grappling with each other at a birthday outing, Leon Garden and his thirty guests were entertained in spectacular style by three ‘Rock n’ Wrestle’ stars – a couple of whom are also pretty familiar to TV viewers.
Wrestlers turning out at Leon’s party at the Fleming Hall in Aberlour were Jack Jester, Grado (who is also well known as Buster in ‘River City’ and his appearances on ‘Scot Squad’) and Davey Blaze (who has appeared on the ITV show ‘Take me Out’).
Leon’s proud mum Lisa Marie told insideMoray: “They all took a walk to the Co-Op and had some strange looks and remarks along the way – that was quite funny!
“The guys though were so great with all the kids at the party and made the birthday boy himself feel very, very special.
“Jack presented Leon with the title belt for ‘Rock ‘n Wrestle’ that he won as the Highlands Champion – he is being allowed to keep a hold of that until we go to see them at the wrestling in the Ironworks in Inverness on December 11.”
