MORAY RESIDENTS ARE being urged to take part in a national conversation on how a Healthier Scotland might be achieved.
A collaboration between tsiMoray and the Health and Social Care Academy – based within the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE), are hosting a ‘conversation café’ event at The Inkwell, Elgin on Wednesday, December 16 from 9.30am to 12.30pm as part of the Scottish Government’s national conversation on ‘creating a healthier Scotland’.
The event is one of a series of such activities taking place throughout Scotland seeking to gather public views on future priorities in health and social care, and the support which is needed in Scotland to live healthier lives.
ALLIANCE Chief Executive, Ian Welsh said: “The National Conversation provides us with an opportunity to engage with people across the country who use support and services in defining the priorities for improving Scotland’s health and wellbeing.
“We look forward to working with people in communities around Scotland to generate a substantial contribution to the process.”
The event is free to attend, but registration is essential – the event is open to all and travel expenses by public transport will be reimbursed.
