POLICE IN KEITH have issued an appeal after a hit and run incident in the Church Road area of the town last week.
They say that on Friday, March 11 at around 5.30pm a red van hit a silver Renault Clio, causing extensive damage. The driver of the van then fled the scene.
Investigating the incident is Constable Mark Douglass, who said: “I would encourage anyone who witnessed this incident to contact Police with any information they might have.
“I am particularly interested in hearing from anyone who saw the red van fleeing the scene and saw where it went.
“The van would have suffered significant damage to the front, and it would have been obvious to other road users that it had been involved in an accident.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
