AN OUTDOOR LEARNING group is set to take to Cooper Park this weekend to demonstrate the wide range of activities they undertake.

Part of the national Outdoor and Woodland Learning Scotland network, the Moray OWL Group are hosting a ‘Go Explore Moray’ event in the Elgin park from 1pm until 3pm on Sunday.

In attendance will be several outdoor organisations who are coming together to run activities in the park for families and adults, during which they can learn as well as enjoy more about the possibilities for outdoor activities throughout Moray.

Activities can include investigation of whale and dolphin bones, animal tracks and signs, natural crafts, den building and an orienteering maze.

Go Explore Moray is supported by organisations that include Wild Things!, EarthTime, Stramash, Moravian Orienteers, Fly Agaric and the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Centre.
