DASHBOARD CAMERA FOOTAGE could provide vital clues for police who are seeking information in connection with an indecent exposure incident on the A96 near Alves.
An appeal was issues on Thursday by the North East Division for any motorists who may have such footage or who might have witnessed an incident while driving on the route last week.
Investigating officer PC Lisa Gauld said: “We are appealing for information or footage of the A96 near Alves from anyone who was driving the road between 2pm and 3pm on Wednesday, May 11 2016.
“We have received a report of an incident involving the male driver of a white van who was parked in the layby near to the village of Alves, who is believed to have indecent exposed himself to a man out walking.
“We are appealing for anyone who recalls seeing a white van or has dashboard camera footage of that stretch of road during that time, to get in touch with us.”
Anyone with information or footage is asked to call Police Scotland on 101.
