A DRUGS SIEZURE that took place last Friday has led to two people appearing at Elgin Sheriff Court.
The pair – one a 36-year-old man from Liverpool and the other a 23-year-old woman – have been charged following the recovery of heroin and cannabis valued at a three-figure sum.
A raid in the Forbes Court are of Elgin led to the seizure and followed an intelligence-led drugs search warrant being acted upon.
A spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland is committed to targeting illegal drugs in our communities.
“Anyone with information or concerns about drug activity should contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous.”
