THE FIRST MORAY town to receive the Planning for Real® process aimed at producing a community action plan will present the results of the exercise next month.

Several towns in the region have seen the creation of working groups that use the process to engage with residents and obtain their views and suggestions on future planning for their local community.

Planning for Real® centres on the creation of a 3-D map of their town – now it is hoped that Dufftown residents will embrace the vision of how their town may look in the future.

A presentation detailing how the community action plan is being monitored and reviewed is to take place at the Dufftown Library on Tuesday, November 1 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and will be followed by a question and answer session.

Next up will be Aberlour, where the Planning for Real® project will be presented at Aberlour library on Thursday, November 24 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
