A NEW COFFEE HOUSE is being launched serving up the speciality product created locally by Moray company Cairngorm Leaf & Bean.
The Coffee roasters will soon be serving up their artisan coffee in the new speciality coffee lounge at the Dava School House.
Fully restored, the school house provides a unique experience of tasting coffee with a difference – served up personally by the coffee roasters themselves, Andy and Sharon are familiar faces around Moray since setting up at the Logie Steading – now through the new lounge they are aiming to meet up with many more of their existing and new customers.
Sharon said: “We select 100% Arabica beans for the Roastery, so coffee lovers can choose from premium single origin beans, carefully selected from the Americas, Africa and Sumatra.
“These provide an interesting balance of flavour and nose, fabulous mountain wash decaffeinated, the locally renowned Café or Dava blends or new Macallan Blend developed specifically for The Macallan Distillery.”
Even those who perhaps do not like coffee will be catered for, as the hot chocolate supplied by Cairngorm Leaf & Bean’s Scottish chocolatier partner, the Cocoa Tree Cafe in Pittenweem, will be available along with a selection of teas from Jenier World of Teas.
Sharon added: “The Coffee Lounge will offer an opportunity to ‘try before you buy’; whole beans or freshly ground coffee, to suit your specific requirement, will be available to purchase and enjoy at home.”
The Coffee Lounge will open on March 11 on Thursday to Sunday and (bank holidays) from 10.30-3.30, and will feature a collection of stunning images while enjoying your coffee – shot by Mike Crutch from A9 Birds with artwork from Dan Fairbairn of Coast.
