POLICE IN ELGIN say that a man has been charged in relation to a serious assault in Elgin in November last year.
The 48-year-old is now expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court at a later date with a report having been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
The charge relates to an incident on Elgin High Street at around 9.30pm on Saturday, November 19.
Detective Constable Scott Mackay said: “Enquiries remain ongoing and we would urge anyone who has information to contact us on 101. We would like to thank those who have assisted with the investigation to date.”
