VOTERS IN THE FOCHABERS/LHANBRYDE ward are being offered an opportunity to quiz candidates seeking election to Moray Council next month.

A Hustings has been organised by Milne’s Area Forum for Tuesday, April 18 at 7pm in Milne’s High School.

All eight candidates for the ward have been invited and are expected to attend, each providing a brief outline of their main priorities should they be elected. That will be followed by an open question and answer session.

Paul Ralph, chair of the Area Forum, said: “This will be a great opportunity for the residents of the Fochabers/ Lhanbryde ward to hear directly from the candidates as to how they will represent them on the Council and engage in a discussion about matters that are important to the area.”

Candidates for the three available council places for the ward are: David Bremner (SNP), Donald Cameron (SLD), Kenneth Gillespie (Ind), Peter Horton (SLD), Marc Macrae (SCU), Shona Morrison (SNP), Sean Morton, Ian Taylor (Ind).
