Appeal after four motorbikes are stolen in Moray

Yamaha was stolen in Mosstodloch.

POLICE IN MORAY are seeking information about the theft of four motorbikes taken from different parts of Moray between 6 and 14 June.

A Yamaha off-road bike was taken from the Mosstodloch area overnight on 13 and 14 June, while in a separate incident between 6 and 7 June three Honda off-road motorbikes were taken from a residential property in the Dufftown area.

Detective Sergeant Andrew Wilson said: “In both incidents, the motorbikes had been advertised for sale on social media sites and we are therefore urging the public to be aware and be mindful of following security measures when advertising items for sale online.

“Anyone who saw suspicious activity in these areas is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 810 of 14/06 and reference 2115 of 07/06 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
