Moray Art students display their degree work to the public

THE ANNUAL ART degree show is to open its doors at Moray College UHI showcasing the talented students studying at the Moray School of Art.

A much anticipated annual event, the annual show features the final works of final degree students at the Moray campus.

This year, the works on display features that of Aaron Cooper, Amanda Howard, Elizabeth Crichton, Saskia Lassmann, Anna Kajos, Dosi Dimchovski and Sophie Ramos.

A spokesman said: “Moray School of Art is one of the five major art schools in Scotland and we are proud to offer a distinctive student experience in a rural art school.

“Using a blend of teaching technologies, we deliver a range of courses from portfolio building to visual communications, alongside two undergraduate courses – BA (Hons) Fine Art and the unique BA (Hons) Fine Art Textiles.”

The degree show opens today at the Academy Gallery and Studios on Moray Street in Elgin from 10am until 8pm and continues this week until Saturday. Opening times on Friday and Saturday will be from 10am until 5pm.
