A PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION is being staged next week as part of the Moray Feelgood Festival, the regions annual event drawing a focus on Mental Health Issues.
Another Free event during the Festival, ‘No Negatives’ will be hosted by the Long Room Gallery at Logie Steading from October 15 to 22.
Open each day from 10am until 5pm, the exhibition is being put in place by Group f/63, a loose collective of photographers who believe that purity in photography is a limiting concept.
A spokesman for f/63 told insideMORAY: “Understanding technique forms the foundations, rather than the pinnacle, of photography and fulfilling expression comes from testing rules rather than abiding by them.
“They use photography to record memories, represent the world and themselves within it, and create new worlds through imagination.
“They think that by learning from and working with others they can reclaim their individual expression.”
