A new forum, set to address the operational challenges all organisations are currently facing, is launching next week in Elgin.
The forum, suitable for organisations and businesses from all sectors, will focus on exploring the future of governance, and will take place in the Mansfield Hotel, Elgin on 8 November 2018. It will feature speakers from Cornerstone and Grampian Housing Association, two organisations that have stepped away from traditional management and are driving change.
Edward Fitsell, event organiser and Development Officer at tsiMORAY said: “With cuts to services from local government, increasing demand for services and increasing pressure on funding sources, it is clear that continuing to run our organisations as we have done won’t work in the future”.

The launch event will feature Edel Harris (pictured), Chief Executive of Cornerstone, and Malcolm McNeil, Senior Management Team at Grampian Housing Association. It will look at what radical changes are needed to achieve greater customer service, increased staff satisfaction, reduced costs and a greater capacity to deal with change.
The event will explore three key questions: what changes do we need to make in our organisations to make them fit for purpose? How will organisations be governed in the future? And how can we start to help make the changes happen in our organisations?
The launch event is free to attend and is the first in a series of events that will explore the future of governance for businesses in Moray.
