An extensive search for a 58-year-old man ended when a body was found shortly after midnight in the Findhorn area.
The search was launched on Monday evening involving a Police Scotland helicopter and members of the public.
Police Scotland say that they were informed of the missing man at around 6pm on Monday.
The Moray Inshore Rescue Organisation boat was launched from its Findhorn base to aid in the search for the local man, with the hunt concentrated along local beaches from Findhorn Bay to Burghead.
Two dog handlers were also involved in the search before it was called off when a body was found in the area.
Police say that there are no suspicious circumstances and a report will now be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
