Moray community groups, individuals and businesses are being urged to take part in an online survey providing their views on future European funding.
The Rural Development Company Ltd. (RDCL) is preparing a joint Rural and Fisheries local development strategy for Moray that will be used to inform bidding for European programmes from 2014 to 2020.
Anyone who has an interest in community-led development within the Moray Council area is being invited to take part in the survey that will seek their views on the needs and priorities for Moray that could be addressed through the European Leader (rural) and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (fisheries and coastal).
All information gathered from the survey will be used to develop a community-led local development strategy for Moray which will act as the bid for funding due to be competed in the Autumn of 2016.
Information workshops have already been held while dialogue is continuing with a large cross section of the community to gather points of view, but the RDCL say that the views of as wide a spread of the general public is an important aspect of the process.
The survey is currently available online and should be completed before July 28.
