Two people had to be taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin on Thursday after an accident on the A96 near Keith.
The accident happened on the road from the Moray town to Huntly at around 7am and resulted in the route being closed for around an hour.
Only one vehicle was involved in the incident, a grey Fiat – neither occupant was seriously hurt although they were both taken to Dr Gray’s as a precaution.
A police spokeswoman said: “An ambulance was called to the scene of the accident and two people were taken to hospital as a precaution after suffering minor injuries.”
The accident is the latest in a series in Moray this summer with this one happening on a route that it was revealed earlier this month had recorded Scotland’s highest speeding offence, a motor-cyclists capture travelling at 139mph.
He was not caught because his registration could not be identified from the speed camera image.
