Moray’s litany of road accidents continued on Sunday when two vehicles were involved in a collision on a minor road linking Lhanbryde to Inchberry Road.
Firefighters were called to the scene at around 1.20pm after a yellow Fiat 500 collided with a red Ford Kuga south of Lhanbryde.
Three police cars rushed to the scene along with two ambulances and two crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
The road was blocked for around an hour while paramedics attended to one of the motorists who had to be cut free from his vehicle.
A police spokesman later confirmed that neither driver was seriously injured.
Both airbags on the Fiat had been deployed during the crash and firefighters had to remove the roof of the vehicle to free the driver, while the ford suffered damage to its rear bumper.
