Two fire appliances were rushed to a Moray farm last night after a combine harvester was set on fire.
The blaze at the Cuttlebrae Farm in Clochan broke out just after 7pm on Tuesday evening at a field just off the A98 Buckie to Fochabers road.
Firefighters from Elgin and Fochabers attended the scene but initially faced difficulty in accessing the blaze because of boggy ground on which the harvester was located.
A forestry fire unit was also sent to the scene to oversee the incident with the fire finally brought under control an hour and a half after it was first reported.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze was “quite a bit off the road” – nobody was hurt in the incident.
