One of Moray’s most talented group of musicians are set to bring the house down at the Lossiemouth Town Hall next month.
The Fochabers Fiddlers have been booked for the charity show that will celebrate talent of all age groups from throughout Moray in the fundraiser for MFR’s Cash for Kids.
Formed from pupils aged 12 to 18 studying at Milne’s High School, the Fochabers Fiddlers were first formed in 1980 to encourage young musicians to play and take an interest in Scottish music.
In the 34 years since the Fiddlers have wowed audiences not just in their native Moray but throughout Europe and the United States. They have also produced several recordings of their work including ‘Three Decades of the Fochabers Fiddlers’ containing twenty tracks recorded between 1982 and 2009.
Fochabers Fiddlers will join a host of entertainers for the insideMoray-backed ‘Celebration of Moray’ on Friday, October 3, including local rock band Peruvia.
The event is also being supported by Asda and Dynamic Visions 13.
Tickets are available now priced at £10 for Adults and £5 for concessions. They can be purchased from the customer service desk at Asda’s Elgin store or by calling MFR Cash for Kids on 01463 227700.
