Community groups and voluntary organisations in Moray are being invited to bid for a £1000 boost their funding.
Local voluntary action group tsiMoray has revealed that following a donation to the Voluntary Action Fund (VAF) there is to be a further one-off round of their successful small community grant programme.
They are now invited community groups and voluntary organisations in Moray to apply for up to £1000 provided their annual incomes is below £25,000 – tsiMoray say that it is expected around 40 grants will be made.
A spokesman said: “The grant is aimed at Scotland’s small and often volunteer-led groups that make a vital difference to their communities.
“Their activities provide essential local services that keep communities vibrant and contribute to the health and well being of Scotland’s people.”
Applications for the Community Grant Programme should be submitted via email to be received by November 14.
