Back to the future experience as Punk returns to Moray

Memories of the golden age of Punk Rock are set to be rekindled at a Moray community hall when it is transformed back into the 1970’s this week.

Renowned tribute band the Sex Pistols Experience are to appear at the Bishopmill Hall in Elgin on Friday, November 7.

The tribute band arrive in Elgin with glowing reports from none other than original Sex Pistol trio Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones and Paul Cook.

Taking time out from a European tour Sex Pistols Experience have included Elgin in their mini-tour of Scottish venues.

A spokesman for the Bishopmill Hall said: “We are delighted that the band are venturing further north than Aberdeen for this tour – and landing in Elgin.

“This is a rare opportunity for people in Moray to experience perhaps for the first time what the Punk Rock explosion in the 1970’s was all about – or perhaps for many to re-live those iconic days.”

Tickets for the performance are available now priced at £12 from Sound and Vision in Elgin.
