Australian born vagabond folk artist Stu Larsen is the latest musician to take up a slot at the Blue Room at Elgin’s Drouthy Cobbler.
A visit to Moray has been sandwiched in between touring North America and Europe, before heading back to tour his homeland in December.
It’s from previous, similar manic tour schedules, and Stu’s need to keep moving on, that have exposed him to the experiences that influence his sound.
Larsen has previously toured with platinum selling artist Passenger – famed for the single ‘Let Her Go’ – as the warm up act on their tour across the states, and has reached number two on the Australian singer-songwriter chart of his on accord.
Support will be from Japanese harmonica maestro Natsuki Kurai, who has previously played with Stu across Asia.
Stu will play the Drouthy Cobbler on October 30th at 7.30pm. Tickets priced are £8 at the bar or available at www.thedrouthycobbler.co.uk.
