Police appeal for taxi pair to come forward after Buckpool flat attack

Police say they are anxious to trace two men who boarded a taxi in Buckpool shortly after the window at a nearby flat was smashed.

The flat at Silberg Drive was attacked a little after midnight Thursday with a window broken at the side of the property.

It is understood that the flat owner is an offshore worker with a neighbour saying that it was not the first time such an incident at taken place at the address.

A police spokesman confirmed that they were following a distinct line of enquiry: “We are keen to speak with two men who were seen entering a taxi in the vicinity of Silberg Drive a short time later.”

Anyone who has information regarding the attack is being asked to contact police on 101 or through the Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
