Three men have appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court in connection with a disturbance in the town in the early hours of Monday morning.
Police and ambulance services had been called to Meadow Crescent when they received reports of a disturbance involving up to six people.
David Arthur, 27, of Elgin and Tyler Enterkin, 19, from Forres were charged with two assaults and one assault to severe injury.
Both made no plea and were remanded in custody – they will appear in court again on Tuesday, October 7.
Kyle Hill, 21, of Elgin was charged with assault to severe injury and made no plea – he was granted bail and the date of his next appearance is still to be confirmed.
