Buckie accident prompts appeal for witnesses

Police in Moray are appealing for witnesses to an accident last week at which one of the vehicles involved left the scene.

Information is being sought on the collision between two cars on Buckie’s High Street at around 4.10pm on Thursday (October 30).

An orange Ford car collided with a silver Honda CRV on the junction of the High Street and Well Road.

Both vehicles were damaged but the Ford left the scene leaving behind a small amount of debris.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.
