Kids set to make a bit of a racquet at Moray College

Elgin’s primary school children will have an opportunity to take part in the annual ‘Sporthall Challenge’ next week at Moray College.

Devised by Badminton Scotland, the annual challenge involves teams completing several challenges including obstacle courses and target hitting – all involving the use of badminton equipment.

Teams will be drawn from primary three and primary four pupils and is aimed at introducing them into the sport of badminton in a non-competitive environment.

The initiative is one of the many organised by Active Schools in Moray and is being held at the College on Wednesday.

Anyone who might be interested in volunteering to assist in activity-based events is asked to contact Roy McPherson on 07966 120515.
