REAP to launch their first Community Market in Keith

Supplies of good wholesome food is the aim of the first ever REAP Community Market set for Keith later this month.

The market at St Thomas Church on Chapel Street will be a centre for obtaining fresh local produce supplied by a variety of local producers.

Maggie’s Steading Bakery and Community Food Moray will lead the way at the market alongside The Bread Kiln from Spey Bay.

There will be Organic fruit and vegetables alongside local honey, jams and eggs of every variety, while game and award-winning goat meat will also be made available.

A spokesman for organisers REAP said: “The market will offer an opportunity for people to obtain high-quality locally-produced food that is not only delicious but will provide an outlet for local producers who work hard at providing the very best quality products.”

The market will also have craft stall and refreshments on hand when it opens up from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday, November 29.
